Phi Delta Chi

The Executive Council (EC) is the governing body of the Fraternity when the Grand Council is not convened. The EC consists of:

• Grand President (GP), who chairs the EC
• Grand Past President (GPP)
• Grand Vice President for Collegiate Affairs (GVPCA)
• Grand Vice President for Alumni Affairs (GVPAA)
• Grand Vice President for Communications (GVPC)
• Grand Vice President for Financial Affairs (GVPFA)
• Grand Vice President for Student Affairs (GVPSA)
• Executive Director, who is appointed by the EC, serves at the discretion of the EC, and is a nonvoting, ex officio member
• Executive Director of the Pharmacy Leadership and Education Institute (PLEI), who is appointed by the PLEI Board of Directors, is a nonvoting, ex officio member

The Grand President and GVPs are elected by the Grand Council. The GPP is the immediate past Grand President and serves as GPP until the next transition of GPs. The GVPSA is the only student elected to the EC. The Executive Director of Phi Delta Chi is appointed by the Executive Council and serves as a non-voting member of the EC based on this role (i.e., ex officio). The Executive Director of the Pharmacy Leadership and Education Institute, the charitable foundation Phi Delta Chi formed in 1996, serves as a nonvoting, ex officio member of the Phi Delta Chi EC.
