Celebrating our accomplishments
Phi Delta Chi prides itself on developing strong leaders of pharmacy, as well as providing tools to our chapters to showcase our professionalism, our dedication to service and scholarship, as well as our Brotherhood. We have a great celebration of our accomplishments every summer at our awards banquet held at the end of our Grand Council and Leader-Development Seminar. We take pride in honoring not only our collegiate Brothers but our alumni Brothers as well.

Every year based on the required reports submitted through our Achievement Award Program, our collegiate chapters are able to showcase the numerous events and services performed and provided to their school, their community and to the profession.
The Achievement Award Program has six reports which are judged and included in the overall points to determine the overall winning collegiate chapter of the year. This chapter receives the coveted Thurston Cup named after our Grand President from 1926 to 1931, Emory W. Thurston, of Omicron Chapter.

As a fraternity we not only highlight the successes of our collegiate Brothers, but take pride in spotlighting our alumni Brothers. These alumni Brothers who are recognized live our motto of Brothers for Life through their actions, their dedication to the Brotherhood, and their service to the profession. Alumni Brothers have the potential to be awarded as Outstanding Alumni Brother from their own collegiate chapter. Alumni chapters participate in the Alumni Foundations Program to showcase all of their events throughout the year and through this program we select our annual Outstanding Alumni Chapter. We are also proud to acknowledge our alumni through some special awards known as Selfless Servant and Distinguished Alumnus Awards. Phi Delta Chi believes learning never ceases, and therefore created a scholarship program to bestow upon our alumni Brothers who are continuing to advance their professional knowledge and skills.

The Golden Lamp Awards highlight those distinguished awards given by our Grand President. The Crowning Glory of our Brothers is to serve, the Grand President’s Award known as Crowning Glory, is awarded to the Brothers who have showcased an exemplary service to the Fraternity during the previous term of our Executive Council. A single Brother is also honored every Grand Council as the Honorary Grand President.

Very few Brothers can state that they are an Honorary Brother of Phi Delta Chi. This is an elite title given to only the most distinguished in the profession of pharmacy.
