The Executive Council of Phi Delta Chi has created a Nationwide Travel Fund for collegiate Brothers wishing to attend a Phi Delta Chi conference in honor of our late Brother Tony Chaffee (Delta). This form is for submissions seeking funding for Grand Council 2026, to be held in Louisville, KY (July 29 - August 1, 2026). Collegiate Brothers wishing to apply must submit an essay as described below.

• Essay and Submission Guidelines: 
• Prompt: In 500 words or fewer, how will attending Grand Council 2026 develop you as a person, as a future pharmacist, and as a Brother?
• Inclusion Criteria:
  • You must have completed registration for Grand Council (registration status will be verified on April 30, 2026).
  • You must be present at Grand Council to receive the award.
• Grading Specifics:
  • All submissions will be screened using artificial intelligence essay detection tools prior to grading.
  • All submissions will be graded blindly to ensure fairness and prevent bias from name and Chapter recognition.
• Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026 11:59pm ET
• Award Breakdown: One winner will receive $500, and two runner-ups will each receive $250. Awards will be presented at the Banquet Awards Ceremony at the end of Grand Council.
