Bourbon Tasting Guided Walking Tour
A bourbon tasting excursion is being planned for Wednesday, July 29th. This guided walking tour will depart from the hotel and include stops at three local distilleries, each featuring curated tastings. The cost for this experience will be $100. If you are interested, please sign up using this link before May 29th.
This event is hosted by the Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity
Every campus, group, and workplace and campus has people who are labeled “difficult.” But simply labeling someone rarely improves the situation. Labeling can prevent leaders from understanding what is driving the behavior. This interactive workshop introduces a diagnostic framework that helps participants move beyond frustration and toward effective leadership action. This workshop introduces a simple Doing–Being–Context model. Participants will learn how to distinguish between observable behavior, deeper identity drivers (e.g., values, beliefs, and thinking styles), and environmental or system factors that influence how people behave. Minimizing slides and lecture, the session is built around guided reflection, small-group discussion, and applied exercises. Participants will work through a real relationship from their own professional experience and use the framework to develop a Difficult Person Diagnostic Map and a practical leadership action plan. Participants will leave with a clear mental model they can use to diagnose challenging interpersonal dynamics. They will be able to respond with greater clarity, empathy, and effectiveness. The fee is $99 for collegiates and $149 for alumni. Space is limited to 30 participants.

All Delegates are required to attend this session. We will provide training on proper procedures of the business sessions, Robert’s Rules of Order basics, and how to vote.
Did you miss registration yesterday? You can pick up your registration materials prior to the Opening Business Session. Delegates should grab their name tag and go straight to the Delegate Orientation.
We will begin conducting business at the Opening Business Session. First roll call will be taken, the Grand President will report on the state of the Fraternity, and the Executive Director will report on our financial status. Business casual attire.

Lunch discussion on best practices and helpful tips with fellow collegiate officers and relevant regional/national officers. Officer tables will be labeled.
Regional Caucuses are casual and run by the Regional Officers. Regional Correspondents are elected, chapter interviews are held, regional awards may be given out, and other announcements are discussed. Regions may use this time to discuss policies to be voted on during the formal business meetings.

This session will cover presentation structure, images and formatting guidelines, and presenting the talk.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide you with information on how each Chapter in Phi Delta Chi is very much like a small business or a family unit. While the product we have happens to be Brotherhood, many of the concepts remain the same. Satisfaction in financial dealings will result in a smoother running Chapter, fulfilled Brothers, and eventually Alumni willing to contribute back to Phi Delta Chi and local Chapters.

Each chapter will have a table to exhibit items, artifacts, or whatever the chapter would like to display. This is a time for chapters to share ideas and items. Chapters may sell t-shirts, mugs, key chains, etc. (if local laws permit).
