GRAND VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS (GVPSA)
About This Office
The duty of the Grand Vice President for Student Affairs (GVPSA) shall be to
supervise the activities of the Regional Correspondents; chair meetings of the Regional Correspondents; and conduct when feasible annual meetings of the
Regional Correspondents with assistance from the Executive Director. It shall be that person’s duty to implement and promote participation in the Dale W.
Doerr Achievement Award Program and to promote attendance by Collegiate Brothers at Fraternity meetings. The GVPSA shall deliver to that person’s
successor all documents belonging to the office.
About This Officer: Stephen Esker
Stephen graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School (NY) in 2002 and entered directly into the 0-6 program at the Albany College of Pharmacy with a graduating date of May 2008.
In his second year at ACP, Stephen was initiated into the Alpha Theta Chapter of the Phi Delta Chi with 7 other brothers. Stephen held the offices of Worthy Correspondent, Professional Committee Chairman, and Brotherhood Committee Chairman for the chapter, while helping the boys in Albany win their first ever Thurston Cup in 2006.
Stephen has ventured out to Phi Delta Chi meetings through the past years, including Eastern Regionals '04 in Buffalo, Grand Council '05 in San Antonio, Eastern Regionals '06 in Boston, LDS '06 in Ann Arbor, and most recently Grand Council '07 in West Palm Beach.
Stephen recently served the fraternity as the Eastern Regional Correspondent before being elected as the Grand Vice President for Student Affairs at the Grand Council of West Palm Beach in 2007.
Stephen's interests include travel, Cleveland Indians baseball, soccer, golf, tennis (all sports), cars, and of course, Phi Delta Chi.
Currently Stephen can be found working 40-hour weeks as an unpaid Pharmacy Extern, seeking graduation in May of 2008.
